The authorities

Pursuant to the registered Articles of Association of the Polish Chamber of Commerce of Furniture Manufactures, its authorities include:

The term of office of the authorities of the Chamber is 4 years. Members of the Chamber perform their functions in the authorities personally and free of charge. Members may be re-elected to perform their functions in the authorities. In the event of resignation, deletion or exclusion of an entity from the Chamber during the term of office when its representative performs a function in the authorities of the Chamber, the authority has the co-option right. The number of co-opted members may not exceed 1/3 of the elected members. If a representative of a company performing a function in the authorities of the Chamber ceased to represent the company, the respective authority of the Chamber should appoint a new representative of the company, having received his prior consent. Resolutions of the authorities of the Chamber are passed in a secret voting if it is required by the absolute majority of the persons participating in the meeting.

In June 2013 the Council of the OIGPM elected the President and two Vice Presidents of the Chamber. Mr. Jacek Twaróg became the President and Mr. Tadeusz Respondek and Mr. Władysław Strykowski became Vice Presidents.

Following the resignation of Mr. Jacek Twaróg as President of the Chamber and Mr. Tomasz Węclewski from the Member of the Council of the Chamber, during the Council Meeting in 18 August 2015, Mr Jan Szynaka Chairman of the Board of the company "SZYNAKA-MEBLE" Sp. z.o.o was elected as a new President of the Polish Chamber of Commerce of Furniture Manufacturers and Mr. Marcin Rutkowski, President of the Management Board of Martela Sp. z.o.o was co-opted to the Council of the Chamber as a new Member.

The members of the OIGPM Council were chosen by the General Assembly in June 11, 2013 in Warsaw and after changes which are made during the Council of Chamber on 18 August 2015.
